At Hughes Health in Westerville, we work with active adults and athletes who want to stay strong, train consistently, and avoid recurring pain or injuries. Most of our patients care about long-term performance and not just short-term pain relief.
Yes! As a sports rehab and chiropractic clinic in Westerville, we regularly work with CrossFit athletes, runners, endurance athletes, lifters, and recreational athletes. Our goal is to help you return to training safely and confidently while performing at a high level, regardless of experience level.
Absolutely! Many of our patients are busy professionals who simply want to stay active, exercise consistently, and move without pain. You don’t have to compete to be considered an athlete in our eyes. You just have to care about staying active and improving your health.
We focus on performance-based sports rehab rather than short-term symptom relief. That means we create structured, goal-driven programs designed to restore strength, mobility, and resilience. While we reduce pain, that's not our sole focus.
We treat rehab like training: progressive, intentional, and measurable. Not endless adjustments, repetitive exercises on a sheet of paper, or injections or surgeries.
Most patients commit to a structured 6-12+ week program. This allows us to fully address movement limitations, rebuild strength, and reduce the risk of reinjury instead of providing temporary fixes. Each program varies because each person's needs and goals vary.
Programs are determined after a consultation and examination to see what fits best for you. You can learn more about our approach here.(https://www.hugheshealth.net/movementassessment)
Our clinic is designed around comprehensive sports rehab programs rather than one-time visits. That means real effort and commitment to address the root cause for your symptoms. If you are looking for a quick adjustment or short-term relief only, another clinic may be a better fit.
We are a 100% self-pay clinic in Westerville. This allows us to provide longer appointments, keep it 1-on-1 with the doctor, tailor and adjust your treatment plans as indicated, and provide individualized outcome-driven programs without insurance restrictions.
Your care plan is based on you and your goals, not what insurance policies require. While we do not take insurance, you may have out-of-network coverage, and you're welcome to explore that with your insurance provider by contacting them directly.
Yes, our approach requires active participation. We guide you through progressive exercises and movement strategies designed to build long-term strength and durability. The best results happen when patients are committed to the process which is why unlike traditional healthcare offices, we do not provide cookie-cutter pages of exercises for you to complete.
We value both efficiency and outcomes. This means keeping treatments inside and outside of the office streamlined with clear, evidence-based programs that can be completed in short times while still packing a punch.
We may not be the right fit at this time if you:
• Prefer to use health insurance to cover for care
• Are looking for passive or short-term treatment only
• Do not want to participate in an active rehab program
• Are primarily sedentary and not interested in returning to an active lifestyle
• Are shopping solely based on lowest cost
We prioritize our patient's health and goals and expect patients to meet us with intent and commitment to their results. This creates the long-term performance with sustainable results.
